Strictly Come Dancing winner Ellie Leach was all smiles as she reunited with her professional dancing partner Vito Coppola after her rumoured split from co-star Bobby Brazier

After a suspected breakup with Bobby Brazier, Strictly Come Dancing star Ellie Leach has reconciled with her dance partner Vito Coppola.

The 23-year-old Coronation Street actress posted a series of happy photos of herself and Vito, 31, on Instagram while they rode the metro together. She wrote, “Fun times,” and included an emoji of a red love heart. Vito, an Italian dancer, then responded in the comments area, writing, “Love you baby.”

When the pair appeared on social media, fans expressed their happiness, with one tweeting, “You guys have a once in a lifetime love, never lose it.” A third person commented, “Ah two great friends having fun together,” and another said, “Lovely to finally see you 2 together.”

It follows rumours that Ellie and her co-star Bobby have ended their brief romantic relationship. After reportedly becoming close during the 2024 Strictly live tour, the two were rumoured to be dating.

The Sun was informed by a source that “they both spent a lot less time together after the tour ended, but love blossomed between them when they were in close quarters.” That gave them time to reflect on the future, which for the next year or two is probably going to take them in very different ways.

“So they decided the best thing to do was quit while they were ahead and while they were still pals, because they both really cherish the friendship they have.”

Bobby, 20, has been associated with a co-star on EastEnders following social media observations of him making a flirtatious remark. Bobby joked, writing beside a picture of Patsy Kensit, “Stop it. Too much for me,” the user wrote, with a heart emoji.

Ellie has dispelled dating allegations that had been circulating for months between her and Vito, the Strictly winners. She earlier posted on Instagram, sharing a cute black and white snapshot of them, “Love this man dearly [red heart emoji] Men and women are capable of loving and being friends with one another. I’m just saying that x @vitocoppola, you have the cutest face.

In an interview with Good Morning Britain, she talked about their deep bond and said she still speaks with Vito on a daily basis.

“I believe that dancing with someone makes you practically spend all day together, and we are just the best of friends,” the woman remarked. I feel extremely fortunate to have him as my dancing partner.

“Our mutual understanding was truly evident. Especially during the final, he was much more emotional than I was. You’ve been hanging out with me too much these days, I thought.”
