Coronation Street arrest ‘sealed’ as Carla Barlow seeks revenge over major deceit

After finally disclosing everything, Jenny Connor of Coronation Street seems to be headed for trouble.

Alison King’s character Carla Barlow on Coronation Street is about to learn something startling. The Underworld chief is beginning to have doubts about the new owners of Rovers Return, according to official spoilers for the ITV soap opera.

Carla chooses to poke fun at Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) over Bethany Platt’s (Lucy Fallon) allegations when she’s at the café. She tries not to talk about it, not wanting to give away too much, while she hides her fear.

Returned to the Rovers, a tense Jenny speaks with Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) and demands that they figure out a method to reimburse Carla without her knowing. Daisy, nevertheless, believes that they should remain silent and go on as usual.

Daisy’s new luxury purse catches the attention of Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) at the peak of the karaoke night. Jenny chastises her for showing off the money as word of her newfound fortune begins to spread.

The two are unaware that their remarks are audible over the microphone, however. Even though Carla has seen the tension between Jenny and Daisy, Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) chooses to intervene in an attempt to defuse the situation.

Later on, Jenny is discovered by Carla in Victoria Garden, and it’s obvious that something is bothering her.

Jenny decides to press her more over Bethany’s concerns regarding Stephen Reid’s (Todd Boyce) wealth as she is unable to hold back any longer.

Jenny comes clean and says she stole the money with Daisy, but they planned to pay her back.

Will Carla be able to overlook Jenny’s dishonesty? Or will she seek retaliation for both of them deceiving her?

Fans of Coronation Street may recall that last year, murderer Stephen deceived Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) into taking £250,000 from Underworld’s company account before to his death.

Daisy dug around after his passing and discovered the money that was gone.

Jenny first sounded reluctant, but then she suggested they use money to purchase back the Rovers, who were about to close permanently.

Daisy changed her mind, however, after telling Jenny that she should be paid for what Stephen had done to her.

But now that Carla will know everything, Daisy, Jenny, and the Rovers’ future may be in jeopardy.
