Actress Claire King of Emmerdale, who portrays the renowned Kim Tate on the ITV soap opera, has disclosed that she has faced several health issues in the past.

The actor, who previously talked about how having rheumatoid arthritis affected her during the difficult filming of the murder tale starring Andrew Scarborough and Graham Foster, was diagnosed with the condition in her late twenties.

The village set, located on the exclusive Harewood House Estate close to Wetherby, is “cold [and] damp,” she said on This Morning. She constantly expresses her pain, saying things like “I’d rather be in Spain.”

Due of her vulnerability during the COVID-19 epidemic, Claire was one of the cast members who was not present in any movies during that period.

She said to OK! Magazine in 2020, “When I get a flare up, it’s not nice and it does make you feel very tired.”

“The cold feels like it penetrates your bones when I’m on location in the winter.”

“Most of the time, people don’t think it’s a big deal because you’re not limping or in a wheelchair, but they take care of me on the show and give me more scenes inside during the winter.”

Fortunately, Claire may feel more at ease at work because she is working on the Home Farm interior set at the show’s production headquarters in Leeds city center.

You can do more with it because it’s a beautiful, large set that keeps you from feeling crowded. We like it,’ she remarked to us the previous year, teasing that William Ash’s character, Caleb Milligan, had become quite comfortable there.

He essentially resides there, she remarked. “Enters, grabs a brandy, brews coffee.”

She’s been involved in a major story recently about Caleb’s estranged wife Ruby (Beth Cordingly) plotting to steal his financial and business holdings.

She has made enemies with almost every neighbor she has since moved into the village.

The event broke out into a heated brawl and fist fight after she revealed in public Caleb’s affair with Tracy Robinson (Amy Walsh) and Belle and Tom King’s (Eden Taylor-Draper and James Chase) wedding reception.

Ruby then turned to Kim, hoping that between them, they could pool resources and enable her to go after Caleb and seize his money.

When Kim realized she didn’t have her trust, she gave in and disclosed the strategy.
