Fans witnessed Amit Sharma leave the ITV soap opera Emmerdale off-screen during Friday’s nightly episode.
After Jai Sharma (played by Chris Bisson) forced his father Amit (Anil Goutam) to permanently leave the village, but not before he handed over his shares of The Hop to him, Emmerdale viewers believe they have figured out what will happen next.
Following an almost precise recreation of the staircase collapse, Jai confronted Amit about his behavior, and at last, he admitted to killing both his brother and Jai’s father, Rishi (Bhasker Patel). But Jai eventually came to an agreement and allowed Amit to permanently depart the village—all without saying goodbye.
Additionally, Jai appeared to betray his brother Suni (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana) after the latter revealed to the chef that Amit had given Jai everything since he didn’t trust him with The Hop. When Amit abruptly texted Suni that he was returning to India, Suni was devastated as well. Little did he realize, though, that Jai was the one who had sent the message.
Many fans are horrified that Jai’s character has “turned dark” in their comments and theories posted on X after the show. Who knows what else Jai has in store for Suni? He’s already shoved his father down the stairs and betrayed his brother once.
“Jai, Suni didn’t do anything,” exclaimed one fan, and another fan chimed in, saying, “I feel bad for Suni because his inheritance was taken from him.” #Emmerdale.
“Amit is gone and Jai is back to being horrible,” said a third. Suni #Emmerdale is poor.”
A fourth said, “Nice to see Jai’s darker side again #Emmerdale,”
“True what I said last night,” a fifth person said. The apple and the tree are not too far apart. Jai shares Amit’s badness. He has never won my favor. A family of chancers, as I mentioned, #emmerdale.”
Nevertheless, it appears that Ruby (Beth Cordingly) and Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) are also preparing to go, so Amit’s departure isn’t the only one in the works.
“Caleb and Ruby planning to leave after Caleb is still getting cold shoulder from the Dingle’s,” a fan remarked. The whiner is incapable of accepting responsibility for his deeds.” (sic)
Actor Chris Bisson hinted to Jai’s plot and asked if he would revert to his previous behavior, saying, “I think that Jai’s dark side has come out now that he has finally found out the truth about Amit.”
“Previously, he attempted to repress all of his emotions, and he paid attention to Laurel and Suni who advised him to go on, accept his father’s passing, and adopt Amit into his family. They said there was nothing to see or hear.
“Well, it turns out that’s not true. We suspected—or Jai suspected—that Amit was the villain. Because of Amit’s cunning, Jai’s suffering throughout the roughly eight months since Rishi’s passing has suddenly skyrocketed.
“It is like a big fireball inside him and it’s all coming out in one go.”
The Jai Sharma actor continued, “I think that for Jai it’s very simple now. he wants rid of Amit.” “He doesn’t want him anywhere near him; he wants him out of his life. He seeks his legitimate inheritance, which he should have received from Rishi, which is the shares in the HOP.
“Jai feels compelled to harm Amit in some way and exact revenge on Rishi for his death because he is no longer with him.
“Jai is not a murderer deep down but I think he has been pushed to his limit here.”
The soap opera actor went on, “But it has altered something within him, and moving forward, it might have an impact on how he views relationships, people, and life. Without a doubt, this will have an impact on his commercial practices as well.
“I believe he will grow somewhat more cruel. He believes that he was somewhat taken advantage of and that this will never happen to him again. Thus, perhaps bad JAI is returning! And Jai, you know what? I really really enjoy it. Playing with him is enjoyable! He is a nice father with some redeeming traits, so he’s not entirely awful, but we’ve seen him take this turn in the past, so who knows what’s coming.”
