MOIRA Barton and Claudette Anderson get into a heated argument about Anderson’s mistreatment of Matty, her transphobic son, in Emmerdale.
Recently, Matty and Amy on the ITV soap opera began to arrange their nuptials.
They went to meet Claudette to ask about holding their event in the village hall, but Claudette’s uncomfortable response upon learning that Matty is transgender dampened their enthusiasm.
Before long, Claudette’s prejudices led her to adopt the incorrect position that the Village Hall belongs to the Church and so prohibited Amy and Matty from being married there.
Suzy Merton was quick to suggest looking for a different location, but it was obvious that Matty had been taken aback by Claudette’s bigotry.
When Ethan’s grandmother reluctantly admits what she said to Matty in Emmerdale, he is appalled.
Ethan tells Claudette that the most essential lesson in Christianity is to love one another, and he assists her in seeing that she owes Matty an apology.
Claudette expresses gratitude to her grandson for his support, while feisty Moira expresses her displeasure with Claudette for sabotaging Matty’s wedding preparations.
After the confrontation, Claudette feels uncomfortable about the harm her cold-blooded remarks have caused, but Matty finds it in his heart to accept Claudette’s sincere apologies.
Later in the week, Amy holds her hen party, and Victoria is irritated when Kerry shows off some of her hired nude butlers. It seems that this will be the Kerry show that evening.

In another scene, Tom King loses control of his wife Belle Dingle and becomes aggressive.
In an effort to keep her under control and mistreat her, the deranged veterinarian has begun following his new bride on his phone.
However, Tom is more enraged as Belle fabricates her location, saying she is still at work while in reality, she is in The Hide.
After that, he descends to the Hide, where he sees Belle seemingly having a ball.
Tom tries to keep his good-natured exterior from showing through, acting as if he doesn’t mind if Belle keeps hanging around at the Hide.
However, upon returning home, overwhelmed by his loss of control over Belle’s life, Tom loses self-control and devastates the place in a fit of wrath.
