ITV Coronation Street’s vile bully Mason’s downfall ‘sealed’ amid new court dilemma

Coronation Street’s Liam Connor and Dylan Wilson will join forces to bring down vile school bully Mason Radcliffe next week but a new court dilemma could thwart their plan

Next week, Mason Radcliffe, the vicious bully on Coronation Street, could finally meet his demise.

Liam, the son of Maria Connor, was tormented by Dylan Wilson and his schoolmate Mason in graphic scenes on the ITV soap opera not too long ago, to the point that the young man considered suicide. Recently, things took a far more unsettling turn when stunned Gary and Maria learned that Mason had even threatened Liam with a knife.

Following the shocking revelation, Liam was brought to the police station by Gary and Maria, where he reported the event. A little while later, the police knocked on Sean’s door and said they thought Dylan could be concealing a zombie knife that had been used in an attack, but they couldn’t find it.

After Dylan pretended he didn’t know about it and concealed the knife for Mason, Mason gave Dylan the order to get the weapon and come see him. But it was only another of Mason’s nasty schemes, for while a tense Dylan waited, PC Craig Tinker came over, discovered the knife in his backpack, and immediately arrested him. Since then, Dylan has been given a community service order after entering a guilty plea to carrying a weapon in a public place.

Mason was facing a jail term when the police informed Maria and Gary, who were overjoyed, that he had been charged with making a threat in a public place with a bladed object. Liam and Dylan will be facing a choice as they prepare for court in future episodes.

When Dylan sneaks out of the hotel, Violet is worried to discover that he is gone, despite Gary and Maria’s best efforts to give Liam more confidence. When Sean and Violet rush in to say that Dylan has vanished, a concerned Liam is picking at his breakfast in the Bistro.

Liam walks home while Gary offers to assist locate Dylan, not realising that someone is watching from across the street. Dylan, on the other hand, is the mysterious figure as he pulls Liam into the ginnel and, upon informing him of Mason’s threats, advises that they do a runner in order to avoid going to court.

Later, after learning that Liam has vanished, Gary and Maria inform Sean and Violet that Liam has also vanished. Are the two schoolboys going to appear in court? Though it’s still unclear what occurs, it seems like Mason might meet his demise since the ITV soap opera provides updates on Dylan and Liam later this week.

Dylan’s mother Violet is getting ready to return to London after the court, but Sean begs her to alter her mind and let their kid remain in Weatherfield. Violet, however, is unmoved, and Dylan and Sean have a tearful farewell. There may be a twist, however, since Dylan subsequently confesses to Violet that he wants to make up with the people he wronged and doesn’t want to go. Is Dylan planning to remain in Weatherfield after all?

In another scene, Liam declares he’s prepared to go back to school, but Maria won’t talk about it. As Liam informs Gary that things are different for her, Maria insinuates that he isn’t his biological father, which hurts Liam.
