Coronation Street fans believe Carla Connor will take dramatic revenge against Daisy Midgeley and Jenny Connor as their betrayal finally comes to light
Viewers of Coronation Street might see Carla Connor get vengeance after arranging a startling betrayal.
The character seemed to discover the truth about her stolen money in the most recent episode of the ITV soap opera, which saw Jenny Connor and Daisy Midgeley using it to purchase The Rovers bar. Prior to his murder last year, killer Stephen Reid had taken money from Carla’s factory accounts.
Carla was unable to get the money back after Stephen conned her since Stephen had transferred the funds using coworker Michael’s information. During the aftermath, Daisy discovered where Stephen had hidden the money and stole his journal in order to get the login credentials for the accounts.
She and Stephen’s ex-girlfriend Jenny kept the money for themselves and used it to purchase The Rovers when Jenny was first unable to pay for it, rather than notifying Carla about it. Jenny was able to use the money to preserve and reclaim the renowned tavern, which was on the verge of destruction after its sale.
Naturally, they had to fabricate the source of the money to avoid raising suspicions, and as far as Carla knew, the money had vanished forever. In the wake of the incident, she was able to restart her factory, but she never received the thousands of pounds she had lost.
But when her nephew Ryan Connor revealed everything about the conflict between Daisy and opponent Bethany Platt, audiences saw her seem to sort things up on Tuesday night. Bethany, Stephen’s great-niece, has long had suspicions about the money and Daisy’s abrupt outburst of wealth.
She went bugging around the back of the bar in the most recent episode and discovered Stephen’s journal, which was jam-packed with details. Bethany realized Daisy had probably accessed the accounts, stolen the money, and used it to purchase the tavern.
Daisy’s partner Ryan and Bethany’s partner Daniel Osbourne did not think Bethany was telling the truth when she approached Daisy and made these accusations. But Carla was obviously starting to doubt her own judgment when Ryan brought up the situation with her that night.
Fans now think Carla is going to be furious and will get vengeance on Jenny and Daisy for their treachery. On X, a fan wrote: “Jenny and Daisy aren’t going to know what’s hit them when Carla confronts them – been long overdue that we see Carla’s strong feisty side.”
“Carla is gonna rip Daisy and Jenny to pieces,” said another enthusiast. “Can’t wait for Hurricane Carla to hit the pub,” said a third viewer, while “Carla is going to be on the warpath,” commented a fourth. “Have fear, extreme fear.”
