As her deceptions and plots in Coronation Street are revealed, DAISY Midgeley is left homeless and without a job.
Daisy and Jenny had partnered together to repurchase the Rovers using the funds from serial murderer Stephen Reid’s bank account.
The money, nevertheless, belonged to Carla Connor since Stephen had taken it from the Underworld plant.
In recent weeks, the two ladies have been attempting to hide their deception, but Daisy couldn’t resist blowing the budget on a recent shopping excursion.
This attracted the attention of Bethany Platt, who, after some investigation, leveled allegations against the two, which Carla quickly discovered.
When Carla questioned Jenny about Bethany’s misgivings over Stephen’s money, Jenny crumbled and said that they had taken it but that they intended to return it. Carla had then discovered a visibly disturbed Jenny in Victoria Garden.
Daisy shows up for work in the next scenes, certain that Carla can’t dismiss her since her name is on the deeds, but Jenny orders her to sling her hook.
Daisy informs Ryan over the phone at Street Cars apartment that she has lost everything and that she doesn’t want to lose him either.
Ryan tells her to go because he is disgusted by her previous actions.
Is Daisy and Ryan’s story finished?
Daisy may be having a rough week, but Roy Cropper is having a far worse one.
After emerging as the main suspect in the adolescent Lauren’s disappearance, the café owner has found himself in the midst of a nightmare come true.
When Dee-Dee comes to the café the next week, she informs Carla, Nina, Evelyn, and Shona that Roy has been charged with Lauren’s murder.
In the meanwhile, Roy is alone himself in his police cell, paralyzed by terror.
