Coronation Street’s Lucy Fallon hints at engagement in soap star reality show

Actress Lucy Fallon of Coronation Street has alluded to a possible engagement during production on the upcoming reality series Drama Queens.


The eight-episode ITVBe series, which also stars Brooke Vincent, Jamelia, Rita Simons, and current Strictly Come Dancing winner Ellie Leach, gives audiences an intimate look into the true lives of soap opera stars as they balance their hectic schedules with those of their families.


Fallon, who portrays Bethany Platt on the television series Corrie, spoke about her boyfriend Ryan Ledson’s role in the programme and hinted at a potentially “exciting” future for the pair.Fallon said that she had “really enjoyed” shooting the episode with her boyfriend, a professional football player.

She said that they had decided to shoot their long weekend in Amsterdam for the programme during her brief leave of absence, which coincided with his mid-season vacation.

“Is the only thing missing now a ring?” fellon was questioned. In response, she said, “This is [our] first official vacation together.



“For my birthday, we went away for one night, but we’ll be here for a few days, so it will be really nice. Stay tuned.” You never know what may happen that would be fantastic!”Fallon hinted at another engagement when thinking about her future professional plans, saying, “I am hoping for some nice big juicy storylines.” Perhaps having a second child within the next year or so. Getting married, maybe! Thus, just a few points.

“I would like it if Drama Queens had a second season! I would most certainly join up for it.”

Sonny is a newborn boy born to Fallon and Ledson, who started dating in 2021.

ITVBe and ITVX will debut Drama Queens on Wednesday, April 10 at 9 p.m.
