Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) and Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) will testify against Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) at the trial. But the thought of confronting the bully terrifies the lads, and they both ultimately vanish. Are they going to court?

While sister Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) is concerned that The Institute may not be all it’s made up to be, Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) has been enamored with it.

In another scene, after being arrested for the murder of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton), Roy Cropper (David Neilson) is subjected to further harassment, which only makes his situation worse. Fortunately, he still has a large support network of pals, one of them is young Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan).

Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) gives Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) a job as a handyman, while Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) must continue to cope with the fallout from her theft of money from Underworld.

One of Mason’s friends approaches Dylan as he waits for a cab and gives him a serious warning.

He is adamant that Dylan fabricate an account in court, claiming he never saw Mason with the knife.

Dylan keeps his own and swears to reveal the truth, but when Mason’s sidekick starts threatening Dylan and his parents, Sean Tully and Violet Wilson (Antony Cotton and Jenny Platt), Dylan becomes very alarmed.

He gives Dylan a terrifying warning, saying that if he doesn’t follow through, a knife will either poke out of him or his parents the next time Dylan sees one.

The bully had left quickly by the time Sean and Violet came outside, and Dylan had said nothing more about what he’d said.

Will Dylan be honest or dishonest about the knife?

After speaking with Rowan (Emrhys Cooper) from The Institute, Toyah returns to the cafe unimpressed, and Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) quickly observes that it is obvious she won’t be joining up.

Adorned by the organization’s beliefs, a worried Toyah is keen to find out just how much sister Leanne has been paying them.

Nick starts to become inquisitive as well, and he quickly enters into their bank account to look into recent transactions.

She has given them £400, and Toyah informs him that she has wasted the money, leaving him stunned.

With genuine worry, Toyah cautions Nick to take immediate action to prevent things from getting out of control.

The interruption of Evelyn Plummer and Carla Connor (Maureen Lipman and Alison King) by DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers), who is eager to talk with Roy, leaves them unhappy.

She clarifies that while Evelyn is resolved to clear his name, Alice has filed a complaint against him.

Evelyn discloses that, prior to her fall, Alice was threatening Roy with her phone and had it in her face.

Mollie Gallagher’s character Nina Lucas notes that DS Swain is well enough to be blogging, despite her insistence that she is currently receiving treatment for a brain injury.

In an attempt to deflect attention from Roy, Evelyn said that she had been the one to shove Alice, despite Ds. Swain’s insistence that she talk with Roy.

Roy maintains that it isn’t the truth even if Evelyn clings to her narrative when DS Swain questions whether that is the case.
