In Emmerdale, Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) was not pleased with her overbearing mother Kerry (Laura Norton) who started to make the whole event about herself as Amy Wyatt’s (Natalie Ann Jamieson) hen do got underway!
The cheeky Geordie, who was fired from the cruise ship she was working on due to accusations that she had been stealing jewelry from the guests, made her way back to the community of the same name last month.
Kerry had been doing an homage to Cher while she was on deck, and she was still wearing the outfit when she got home in the back of Andy Moore’s police cruiser, PC Swirling.
Ever then, she has persisted in being an overbearing figure in Amy’s life, and she has clashed with Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), her neighbor, over Mack Boyd’s (Lawrence Robb) relationship.
She made her presence known once again in tonight’s (5th April) episode of the ITV soap opera, just in time for Amy to marry Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano).
Kerry’s return to her Cher costume shocked Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins) as the ladies made their way to The Hide cafe for the hen party.
When she disclosed that she had hired nude butlers to serve drinks at the event, further indignation followed. You can be sure she took use of the karaoke machine and sang along!
Amy felt bad for letting her mother have fun, but the other ladies questioned whether she had gone too far.
Consequently, an inebriated Moira confronted her and threatened to hold her accountable if she made a mistake on the important day.
Kerry questioned if any facts were being revealed despite her claims to be kidding.
Will the big day for Amy and Matty go off without a hitch?
