Emmerdale star Isabel Hodgins, who portrays Victoria Sugden, has revealed that she has moved into a new home just four months after announcing her engagement to boyfriend Adam Whitehead
Emmerdale star Isabel Hodgins, who is known for portraying Victoria Sugden on screen, has given fans a major life update this week. The actress announced that her beau Adam Whitehead got down on one knee just four months ago, and it seems marriage isn’t the only exciting prospect in the couple’s future.
Before the loved-up pair get married, they’ve moved their dream home. Embracing the new move, Isabel, 30, took to Instagram on Tuesday, 9 April, to reveal that she’s cosied up in her new digs.
Through an Instagram Story, she shared a snap of herself unlocking the front door to her new abode stating “Home” in the caption, along with a padlock emoji and a cheery yellow heart emoji.
Onward, she took to her Instagram grid to proudly announce that she’s now a homeowner with Adam.
The picture showed a moving in card with the words “New Home”, two house keys adorned with matching keyrings, and a bottle of Kylie Minogue rose wine. Isabel penned in her caption: “We are FINALLY in! ! Now I have to live with a smelly boy!”
The Emmerdale star also added some cute emojis for good measure, popping in a house, house key and yellow heart.
Kelvin Fletcher, her former co-star, was quick off the mark to drop a comment on the happy news, simply writing: “Big moment”.
While other co-star Laura Norton penned: “Congratulations my little sweetpea all growed up, so proud of you. (sic)”
Of course, plenty of fans also shared their well wishes for the clearly excited Isabel and Adam.
Picking up on all the details in the snap, one follower observed: “Ok, there is living with a boy… but the payoff is Kylie Sparkling Rose! That’s gotta be a win! Congratulations on your new home.”
In December last year, just before Christmas, Isabel revealed Adam had asked her to be his wife after 12 months as a couple. She spread the joy over social media, writing at the time: “The most incredible night of my life. I said yes to marrying my best friend. My kind, sweet, patient and generous, perfect person. I can’t wait to spend forever with you.”
Before starting up her romance with fiance Adam, she dated her co-star Michael Parr, who played Ross Barton in the ITV soap. Unlike many co-stars who keep their relationships under wraps, they went public on Instagram early on after they started dating in 2015.
Michael then moved to America to pursue his acting career away from soaps while Isabel stayed in the Dales. Reports suggested they drifted apart after four years of dating.
