In the midst of Rhona Goskirk’s (Zoe Henry) trial, Emmerdale has officially verified the cause of death for Lucy Malcolms (Charlotte Asprey), and it wasn’t her fault.

This week, Rhona has been on trial for allegedly abducting baby Ivy. After revealing that he planned to travel to France with her, Gus Malcolms (Alan McKenna) and the child—who is her biological daughter—ran off with her.

The prosecution questioned Gus’s attorney, and he focused a lot on the argument Rhona and Gus’s late wife Lucy had before Lucy passed away.

while Rhona learned that Gus had seized her passport and frozen their embryos while they were married, she was appalled and used the embryos to have a child with Lucy.

After a heated argument with Rhona over the state of affairs, Lucy—who was significantly pregnant—went into early labour and tragically passed away during delivery.

Gus quickly accused Rhona of being responsible for Lucy’s murder during their argument, and Rhona experienced intense guilt as a result.

Rhona quickly corrected Gus and the prosecution by disclosing the true cause of death when they attempted to blame her for Lucy’s passing during Rhona’s trial.

She clarified that Lucy’s haemorrhage during the delivery was not related to their argument’s stress, despite what Gus had attempted to imply. Rather, it was the result of an existing medical problem.

Gus is certain that Rhona will be found guilty despite the fact that her destiny is still up in the air because of her outburst on the stand.

Is he correct, or will Rhona be able to prove her innocence and go back to her family?
