Next week in Emmerdale, when Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) turns off the puppy cam when she’s at home alone with Vinny (Bradley Johnson), Tom King (James Chase) loses it.
In the next scenes, the abuser—who has been manipulating and gaslighting Belle since their wedding day—leaves on a business trip, much to his wife’s dismay as she worries about being left alone.
As fans are aware, earlier this month, Tom informed the wedding planner and events organiser that their house had been broken into when, in fact, it was he who had wrecked the property, leaving her stunned!
After he set a puppy cam to spy on Belle after they brought Piper the dog into the family, Tom took great pleasure in “comforting” the scared girl. Since then, he has been monitoring her every step using a tracking software.
Next week, Vinny visits Dale Head to keep Belle company while Tom is gone on business. The two pass the time by watching reality TV. However, they are unaware that Tom is using the puppy cam to observe them from his hotel room.
Creepy.
In the footage above, which is from this Thursday’s (April 17) episode of the ITV soap opera, Vinny and Belle are shown having a nice day together until Vinny confides in Belle that he has never had sex.
He is reassured by Belle that there is nothing improper about this. But Tom calls him a “weirdo” and mocks him harshly. Vinny notices the puppy cam, and Belle assures him that she will turn it off and teach him a “love lesson.”
Naturally, she is saying that their next movie together will be a romantic comedy, but she’s furious about it. The lack of connection makes Tom furious, so he takes his keys and runs towards the village.
As we previously announced this week, Tom will eventually find himself at the scrapyard in later scenes after using Belle’s phone to trace her whereabouts.
Then angry Tom attacks Vinny, leaving him on the floor to bleed to death. But is this truly Vinny’s last chance? Or will he be discovered before all is lost?
These scenes from Emmerdale will run on ITV1 and ITVX on Thursday, April 18, at 7:30 p.m.
