A sudden new crush also emerges in the ITV soap
Next week, Emmerdale’s drama will continue with Gus finally having to face the consequences of taking Rhona’s embryos, heartache for a new marriage, and a potentially shocking appearance from a character’s past.
As fans of the ITV soap opera are aware, Vinny Dingle was assaulted by Tom Kin last week after he became upset in the scrap yard. In later sequences, Belle King returns to tend to Vinny after being horrified to discover how badly beaten he is.
Unfortunately, Tom quickly finds a method to intentionally disparage Belle because he is envious of her friendship with Vinny. Subsequently, Belle notices that Tom and Vinny seem to be getting along, and she wonders why, knowing that Tom must have a motive.
Tom soon confesses that he loves assisting Vinny in finding a partner and is eager to do so. He immediately sets his eyes on Gabby in order to get Vinny, but Belle is uneasy when he gets there since Tom adores being with Gabby.
In another scene, Billy Fletcher reopens his personal training and fitness firm, but considering all he and his wife Dawn are dealing with at home, it’s off to a bit of a rough start. Manpreet quickly discovers she has a crush on Billy while taking his lectures.
The next day, Kim Tate and Will Taylor agree to assist Billy in balancing his fitness business and child care. However, after an enigmatic phone conversation, Will disappears. Billy is too focused on his own relationship for him to notice Manpreet flirting with him when he is giving her a physical training session.
When Will gets to the hospital, he hears a familiar voice regaling the nurses, which draws him inside a room. Will meets Rose in person shortly after, someone he has known for a long time. When Will gets home, Kim questions him, but he doesn’t tell her where he’s gone. He can hide his secrets from Kim, but for how long?
In addition, Gus surprises Marlon Dingle and Mary Goskirk with a visit. If Gus receives a reduced term, he tells Mary and Marlon that they would still be involved in Ivy’s life, but a doubtful Marlon finds it difficult to accept Gus’ words. When they go home, Rhona and Marlon talk about Gus’s upcoming sentence and express gratitude for one another’s support.
Later, Rhona is mysterious as she gives Gus custody of Ivy, but they decide to prioritise the kid going forward. Rhona is nervous about Gus’ court date for sentence the following day. While Marlon attempts to calm Rhona down, it’s obvious that Rhona is anxious and considering her options. Rhona starts reading her statement in court now.
Sarah, Cain Dingle’s granddaughter, is coerced into assisting when dad needs assistance at the garage. While fixing an attractive customer’s vehicle, Sarah, who is angry, is attracted by him. Sparks fly, and Cain is left wondering. Mackenzie Boyd becomes agitated when Sarah indicates she’s taking over for him at the garage, while Charity Dingle is happy about Sarah’s new position.
Furthermore, Jacob Gallagher is still inconsolable by his breakup with Victoria Sugden. While Jacob tries to conceal his anguish since he’s not ready to move on, Moira advises Victoria to look for a new employment. Leyla Cavanagh makes an effort to get Jacob to go back to school since he wants to take a break in secret and is hopeful that Victoria would accept him.
Following a lunch date with Wendy, Victoria goes back to the village where she gets into a fight with Leyla, which ends with her hitting her. PC Swirling then makes Victoria an assault charge. What would Jacob think after learning what has happened? Has Leyla blown it with her kid, too?
