The fallout of last week’s beating continues.
Tom King in Emmerdale has been cruelly tormenting Vinny Dingle more recently.
After viciously attacking Vinny from behind in his work trailer last week in retaliation for spending time with Belle King, Tom has since made fun of Vinny’s virginity. After telling Tom about Vinny’s past sexual encounters, Belle was shocked when her husband brought it up in front of Vinny nearly right away.
In spite of Belle’s assurance that she would keep his secret to herself, Vinny felt deceived in Tuesday’s (April 23) episode. Tom made an effort to make things right by informing Belle that she should never be asked to conceal secrets from her husband by a friend.
Tom told Belle there wouldn’t be any news from the police anytime soon when she inquired for updates on the recent break-in at their house.
Viewers are aware that Tom faked the house invasion in order to make Belle feel bad about going out with pals, thus he never really contacted the police. Additionally, Tom coerced Belle into turning on their dog camera nonstop, all the while keeping his wife unaware that he was watching her while she was alone herself at home.
Vinny happened to drop in on Tom and Belle while they were eating lunch at the pub. Belle, much to Tom’s chagrin, encouraged Vinny to come along. Tom left to get Vinny a drink while Belle sobbed bitterly at him for breaking his confidence.
She said to him, “I’m sorry; I’ve let you down.”
Tom proceeded to tease Vinny by giving him a virgin daiquiri, showing no signs of relenting and forcing the two buddies to make up.
“I apologise, buddy. Tom chuckled, “I didn’t intend it [like that]. “I just didn’t want you mixing alcohol and meds.”
To what far will Tom go to get Vinny to leave?
