After revisiting “painful memories” away from the cobbles, Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon got an overwhelming amount of support.

The actress, who portrays Bethany Platt on the popular ITV soap opera, has made a comeback to the programme. In addition to acting on the soap opera, Lucy is also sharing details about her personal life with viewers of ITVBe’s new reality series.

She has joined the cast of Drama Queens, which is based in Manchester and the North West and attempts to depict the true life of the actors as they feature in the largest long-running production in the nation, along with other celebrities like Ellie Leach, Amy Walsh, and Jamelia from Hollyoaks.

The most recent episode, which aired on Wednesday, April 24, showed Lucy getting ready for her son Sonny Jude’s first birthday celebration, which occurred in February. Then, with courage, she revealed that she had miscarried before becoming pregnant with her son.

In June 2021, Lucy revealed her relationship to the world along with her football player partner. Following their initial conversation on the celebrity dating app Raya, their romance flourished throughout lockdown. Then, in September 2022, they declared that Blackpool resident Lucy was five months along with Ryan and expecting their first child.

However, Lucy experienced a terrible loss back in March 2022, so their good news was delayed. “In the first year that me and Ryan were together, I fell pregnant for the first time,” a tearful-eyed Lucy recalled, narrating her first pregnancy for the cameras.

They were “really excited,” she stated, but then she continued, saying, “And we booked a scan and we… I feel like I’m gonna get upset.” “We went for the first scan and I didn’t expect that anything would be wrong and [the nurse] told us that there was no heartbeat,” she said after taking a minute to gather herself. that the infant had passed away.”

Lucy received a tonne of supportive and kind notes after the show, and on Thursday night (April 25), she celebrated her current life with a cute picture of herself and Ryan at Sonny’s first birthday celebration.

Lucy typed “we” and included the emojis for an infinity sign and a dove before continuing, saying, “I appreciate all of your lovely messages on last night’s episode of @dramaqueensitv. We had a really challenging start to 2022, and discussing it brings up a lot of unpleasant emotions.

I find it both heartwarming and consoling that so many of you can identify with our predicament. We consider ourselves quite fortunate to have started our small family, and I am thankful for our current circumstances every day. I am aware that it can differ greatly for many individuals.”

“And when it looked like the sun couldn’t shine anymore, I saw a rainbow in the clouds,” she said. “Thank you to my Ryan for being everything you are to us and to our Sonny for being the sunshine we needed the most.”

While Lucy’s supporters and admirers kept sending encouraging remarks, other soap opera stars Paddy Bever, Laura Norton, Paula Lane, and Sophie Austin all replied to the post with strings of hearts emojis.

“What a gorgeous episode… & what a gorgeous family you have,” commented @iamnickelliott. @edits4umulti left a comment: “Lucy, you have so many admirers! We adore you so much.” “You’re amazing and your little family is beautiful!” was the reply from @clo_blacknellx. Continue to shine and relish your rainbow.

“Thank you so much for speaking so openly,” commented @megan_smith1506. “Extremely same pain twice in 2022,” remarked @perkyhollz. Our newborn girl’s year was 2023. You underestimate your strength.” @wadeyzoe stated: “Was really good to get an insight of your life’s as normal people under being in soaps a your little sonny is absolutely gorgeous.”
