Dawn was placed in foster care when Will was turned over to the police for his drug dealing, and her continual instability and lack of a family unit drove her to resort to drugs and prostitution.

Fortunately, Dawn’s marriage to Billy Fletcher and her rekindled friendship with her father Will and his wife Kim Tate have made her life much more solid in recent years.

However, things are about to take a drastic turn in forthcoming Emmerdale scenes when she confronts her mother, Rose.

Will answered a call and hurried to the hospital where Rose had ended up, only to see the familiar face from his past.

Dawn is so upset that she doesn’t want to talk to her husband Billy about meeting her.

Rose, who seems too familiar, asks for directions to Home Farm in the hamlet, and when she arrives, Kim is abruptly interrupted. Rose is desperate to speak with Dawn.

Soon after, Dawn and Rose cross paths, but Dawn demands Kim observe, much to Rose’s chagrin.

Dawn is certain that they won’t be in a relationship even after Rose puts her emotions out there.

Kim offers Rose £2,000 in private to go back to Spain and never come back.

Rose refuses to budge even when Kim sternly points her that there are worse alternatives for her to consider. Eventually, Rose grudgingly concedes and walks away.

But Rose finds herself at the Woolpack before her journey home, where Kerry and Gail quickly follow.

Billy encourages Rose to move on when he sees her, but Rose flips the script and tells Dawn in front of an audience how Kim has bought her off, leaving Dawn speechless.

Will is irate at Home Farm because Kim paid Rose off without notifying him.

Dawn says she’s invited Rose to stay with them when she and her mother get home.

ITV1 carries Emmerdale, which is also accessible on ITVX.
