We’re always surprised by Coronation Street’s Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor).
The ITV soap opera Sal was shocked to stroll into the bar on Wednesday, May 1, and see Tim (Joe Duttine) hanging out with Steve (Simon Gregson) and a few inebriated ladies.
Tim followed Sally’s directive to go home, leaving the pub with his tail between his legs like a dog.
Tim was about to unwind in the hot tub in the conservatory when Sally gave him some unwelcome news.
She claimed that even though Steve is a single man who dates frequently, she does not want Tim to be in close proximity to his closest buddy.
Sal agreed to an exception, saying that Tim and Steve may still see each other at work, but that they should avoid talking to single ladies outside of the taxi office since they could strike up a conversation.
In the installment for tonight, Tim, to put it mildly, sulked all day.
He was really upset with Sally for forcing him to “split up” with Steve. After spending the afternoon at the bar, Sally grabbed some chips, took a seat next to her spouse, and pondered over his behaviour.
Tim expressed his sorrow about Sally’s choice to end their relationship and questioned her motivation.
Sally acknowledged that she was truly afraid that Tim would hang out with Steve when he is seeing other people because she thought it may affect their relationship.
Sal said, “You don’t see what other women see!”
“You’re fitter than a dog from a butcher shop!”
Sally then did an excellent job of calming Tim down. “When people see us together, they think you’re my trophy husband,” she confided in her lover.
The pair expressed their belief that they are “punching” and kissing each other.
It’s enough to indicate that this marriage won’t dissolve anytime soon, whether or not Tim spends time with Steve.
