Emmerdale’s Kerry Wyatt to ‘team up’ with unlikely resident in Eric Pollard revenge plot

EXCLUSIVE: Eric Pollard may live to regret deceiving Kerry Wyatt in Emmerdale because she is not the kind of character to back down on the ITV soap opera.

In future scenes on Emmerdale, Laura Norton’s character Kerry Wyatt deceives Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) into letting her into his barn and accessing his laptop.

She quickly finds out he conned her by selling her necklace—a present from her ex—for a huge sum of money.

When Kerry revealed she didn’t have the money to pay for her daughter Amy Wyatt’s (Natalie Ann Jameson) wedding at Home Farm, the big day was all but cancelled. Kerry intended to use the necklace to pay for the event.

Kerry was devastated when Amy forbade her mother from attending the wedding at Kim Tate’s (Claire King) Home Farm. Eric estimated the necklace’s value at around £100.

But she becomes furious when she finds out he misled her about the jewelry’s actual worth.

In scenes that have not yet shown, Kerry organises her retaliation feverishly, persuading Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) to allow her to host an exclusive cash-only sale at Eric’s business.

A cunning Behind Eric’s back, the villagers pick up their deals while Kerry ransacks the store. What response will Eric give Kerry’s antics?

Actress Laura Kerry recently discussed the plot with Express.co.uk and other media, implying that she would team up with an unlikely villager to bring Eric down.

When asked which character in the soap opera she would most want to collaborate with, Laura suggested Claudette Anderson (Flo Wilson).

“I just feel like there could be some amazing between them two.” She went on, “She’s a great character in there.”

The mother of Kevin Mathurin’s character Charles Anderson, Claudette, doesn’t appear to like his partner Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker), who has feelings for Jay Kontzle’s character Billy Fletcher.

Billy is wed to Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley), but on Friday’s Emmerdale, the couple learned their child had been diagnosed with leukaemia, leaving them devastated.
