More unsettling images from Emmerdale’s current coercive control plotline starring Belle Dingle and Tom King will air on Friday night.
After a troubling moment involving Belle Dingle, Emmerdale fans are certain they have finally brought Tom King to his knees.
Fans have seen Tom controlling and isolating his lover in the ITV soap opera, which is handling a subject involving coercive control. It has been revealed that the character will soon become violent in a devastating development, as his disgusting attitude has been becoming worse lately and he is keeping an eye on her.
At a dinner party next week, when we get a peek of what Belle deals with at home, further clues hint to “terrifying” moments that will be shown. Tom has just lately begun pressuring Belle to have a family, but she isn’t ready for it since she wants to concentrate on her work and is worried about how it would affect her mental health.
Belle was seen looking up the possibility of becoming pregnant while taking the pill on her computer on Thursday night, raising concerns that she could be pregnant. In Friday’s episode, Belle took a pregnancy test while Tom, who was in charge of her, was watching her.
Belle was pleased when the test came back negative, but Tom was not happy and vented his frustration on her by gaslighting her before he hurried out of the home to join his friends from university. Tom’s outburst aside, Belle and Mandy Dingle went for a stroll, during which time Mandy confided in Belle about Tom’s desire for a child and her lack of readiness. Afterwards, Tom returned home and attempted to cast doubt on Belle’s decision by pressuring her to agree and claiming that they should try for a kid right away since they would have infertility problems.
“Well, you won’t be needing the pill anymore!” Tom exclaimed as he forced Belle, who had grudgingly consented to try, to put her contraceptive pill in the trash as the episode came to a close. Nevertheless, Belle promptly removed the pills as Tom went to the store, but would Tom eventually locate them? Viewers are hopeful that Mandy will be the one to defeat Tom after Belle opens out to her on Twitter and now X.
