In future Emmerdale episodes, Tom King (James Chase) will exhibit even more deviant behavior after discovering Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) has been concealing something from him.
The story will center on Tom, Belle, Rhona (Zoe Henry), and Marlon (Mark Charnock) in a special installment as they try to have dinner together, but things swiftly take a dark and terrible turn.
The celebration will be experienced by the audience in two parts. One will be from Belle and Tom’s viewpoint in the kitchen, and the other will be from Rhona and Marlon’s perspective at the dinner table.
It will try to draw attention to the fact that what is seen in public isn’t always what is happening behind closed doors.
Belle sneaks into the doctor’s office before the dinner party in the hopes of getting her prescription for contraception set up.
Belle tells Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) that she doesn’t want it delivered home with her other medications, as seen in this new video.
Manpreet notices Belle is getting a little worried and tells her that everything she says in the surgery is private. She accepts it, but decides not to discuss Tom with the doctor.
They talk about the medication some more, and in the end they figure something out.
Tom makes the mistake of misdiagnosing an aging dog with cancer at the veterinarian’s office without doing the necessary testing. In the nick of time, Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) arranges the proper blood tests, and Paddy (Dominic Brunt) follows suit.
Tom begins acting the victim as the enraged client leaves, telling him Vanessa makes him feel uncomfortable at the office.
Then, he flips things around one more and chooses to host a dinner party at his and Belle’s place tomorrow for the veterinary staff and their partners.
After his day, Tom is in a terrible attitude when he gets home. Telling Belle about the meal, he adds it’s up to her to make it successful.
Belle is found by Tom before the visitors arrive, and he helps her change into something more “appropriate.”
Tom discovers something while Belle is making her way to her chamber, but before he can confront her, visitors begin to arrive.
After the dinner party starts, Belle heads upstairs to have some alone time. Tom follows her fast and threatens her in the restroom.
Rhona and the other guests begin to leave as the evening begins to unravel, leaving poor Belle alone herself with Tom.
We witness the horrifying and distressing reality of Belle’s life with violent Tom just before the house is once more empty.
