The 26-year-old actress will commemorate 20 years of living in the Yorkshire village in 2025. She has been playing Belle in the popular ITV soap opera since 2005. Christine Lampard, the guest presenter on Monday’s Lorraine, questioned Eden about the occasion and her plans for celebration.
Regarding her approaching 20-year ITV soap opera anniversary, Eden stated: “I feel like, as the Dingles, we’ve kind of started this thing where you get an engraved bracelet from the Dingles when you get to a big anniversary.” I thus really, truly want that bracelet! I feel like I want to be in the gang, I’m almost there. James [Hooton, who plays Sam Dingle], Jeff [Hordley, who portrays Cain Dingle], and Jane [Cox, who plays Lisa Dingle] had one.
Fans have witnessed Tom King isolating and controlling his spouse, and this occurs as the ITV soap opera tackles a coercive control plotline with Belle. It has been revealed that the character will soon turn violent in a devastating development, as his disgusting attitude has been becoming worse recently and he is keeping an eye on her.
New teasers also hint to “terrifying” situations that will occur during a dinner party and show us a peek of Belle’s domestic struggles. Tom has just lately begun pressuring Belle to have a family, but she isn’t ready for it since she wants to concentrate on her work and is worried about how it would affect her mental health.
In the episode that aired on Friday, Tom threatened Belle, who had unwillingly decided to try for a child, by telling her to take away her contraceptive pill, saying, “Well, you won’t be needing the pill anymore!” But Belle swiftly took the medications and hid them in the kitchen while Tom went to the supermarket. Will Tom eventually find them, though?
