Recently, Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) of Coronation Street was discovered to be semi-conscious and was sent to the hospital.
After being abandoned by his awful father Denny, he found himself alone in the flat and battled to control his coughing fit.
Paul was diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia at the hospital. Aspiration pneumonia occurs when food, drink or vomit lodges in the lungs or airways rather than being swallowed or spit up.
Paul will soon get a feeding tube installed in order to make sure he is as comfortable as possible as his motor neurone illness progresses.
The attention of the week is on Jane Hazlegrove’s character, Bernie. Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) begs Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) to investigate after realising her mother has been lying about where she has been.
When Dev finally confronts Bernie, she breaks down and confesses that she had another son who was placed in foster care, named Zodiac (Zac for short).
Bernie goes on to say that Zac was adopted later and gave himself the name Christopher Green. She is currently looking for him.
Bernie informs Dev later in the week that she will be seeing one more Christopher Green on her list.
Bernie, however, begins to worry that she has lost the opportunity to find her son after learning that Christopher passed away from cancer.
Paul prepares his final dinner at the flat before getting his feeding tube installed the next day.
The man experiences yet another terrible moment since he knows that ultimately his MND would take control of his complete body.
