Emmerdale’s hour-long episode was full of drama on Thursday night and saw one villager left for dead.
After Ethan Anderson (played by Emile John) left Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) for dead after smashing his car, Emmerdale viewers believe that more than one leave may be in the works. After drinking together, the two were compelled to leave the area when Nicky received a call from Suni Sharma (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana) pleading for assistance.
When the chef learned that the people who had attacked him earlier were also present, he found himself stuck in the bar’s lavatory. Nicky planned to drive himself there after calling his partner for assistance, but Ethan offered to drive because he’d drunk less than Nicky.
Ethan, on the other hand, crashed the car while they were speeding through the backroads; fortunately, he survived, but Nicky was hurt and covered in blood. Rather than wait for an ambulance after making sure he was still alive, Ethan ran away, leaving poor Nicky for dead.
Fortunately, Nicky was helped by Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb), who stopped her car. Moira attempted phoning Caleb (Will Ash) and Ruby (Beth Cordingly), who hurried to be at their son’s side, after calling for an ambulance.
After Nicky was taken to the hospital, physicians informed Caleb and Ruby that Nicky’s prognosis wasn’t good as the episode came to an end.
“Moira, where is he and what has happened?” Ruby hurried to the hospital.
“I found him at the bottom road; his car was pretty badly smashed up,” Moira said. He must therefore have been able to escape and move away from it.”
After Moira answered Ruby’s question, she said, “He was unconscious when I found him.”
After wheeling Nicky into a hospital bed, the medical staff informed his parents, “We’ve given him a CT scan, but I’m afraid that head injury is extremely serious.”
“There is some bleeding on the brain…we’re going to do everything we can.”
Fans shared their ideas on X after the show, with many of them predicting that Ethan will be exposed.
One fan joked, “This could be Nicky’s exit from #Emmerdale.”
Another theory was that Nicky would live and merely lose his memory. #Emmerdale Ethan will get away with it.”
In contrast, a third said, “Ethan is in so much trouble.”
“Oh my, how awful. Another person said, “Nickyman down and apparently out #Emmerdale.”
Another continued, foreshadowing a sinister turn for Ethan: “When Caleb finds out, it will take more than god to save Ethan! #Emmerdale”
