As you can see from my latest spoiler videos, Coronation Street will be delivering up surprises next week as the case of Lauren Bolton’s (Cait Fitton) disappearance takes yet another bizarre turn.
Since poor Roy Cropper (David Neilson) was imprisoned for a crime he did not commit, the ITV soap opera has had us all on tenterhooks, with everyone in Weatherfield eager to crack the case and rescue their beloved.
Since abuser Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper) has returned to the cobbles following a jail sentence, Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) has developed a special interest in the crime.
The next episode, Nathan is viciously beaten, but Bethany doesn’t let that shake her belief that he killed Lauren. She talks to her mother, Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), about the crime.
In another scene on the Street, Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) sets out to learn more about the twisted Rowan (Emrhys Cooper), while Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) confides in Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) about a significant secret she has been keeping.

Monday May 13
Dev shows up at Bernie’s to look into the weird conduct after receiving a tip from Gemma. Bernie argues that she is tired since she went shopping early in the morning, but Dev doesn’t buy it because he senses something is wrong.
With no other option, Bernie breaks down and says she had another child, whom she named Zodiac. However, she let him go, and now she’s out to locate him.
Wednesday May 15
Desperate to find out if Leanne is in danger, Toyah meets with Una, Rowan’s ex. When Una hears of Leanne’s predicament, she seems shocked, but will she give Toyah the information she needs to save her dear sister from Rowan’s cruel grasp?
Friday May 17
Sarah and Bethany talk about Nathan’s attack, with Bethany continuing to insist that the abuser killed Lauren. The two legends conjecture who killed Lauren, but Bethany is certain about her top suspect. Roy is obviously not at fault, and Daniel doesn’t appear to be in the picture anymore.
