twisted In a thrilling, special Emmerdale episode scheduled for next week, James Chase’s character Tom King will continue to rule over his wife Belle, played by Eden Taylor-Draper.
After seeing warning signs during their engagement, Belle decided to go ahead with their wedding and has been ignoring the torture Tom has been putting her through. It has been a horrible few months for Belle.
His nasty behavior has escalated from verbal taunts to coercing her into having sex with him to beating her close friend Vinny (Bradley Johnson) and abandoning him.
Belle slips off to the surgery to schedule a prescription for contraception after discovering she may have been pregnant.
She frantically explains to Rebecca Sarker’s Dr. Manpreet that she does not want it shipped to Dale Head with the rest of her prescription, and together they come up with a workable solution.
At the veterinarian’s office, Tom feels patronized by his coworker Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) when she brings up the fact that he misdiagnosed a dog.
Fortunately, she and Paddy (Dominic Brunt) get there just in time to save the animal and make sure it’s not cancerous after all.
Tom starts acting like the victim when the irate owner walks off with their pet, implying that he hasn’t felt accepted at work since Vanessa came back from Canada earlier this year.
But in an instant, he decides to have dinner in his and Belle’s house and extends an invitation to every employee and their partners.
When he gets home from his awful day, he tells Belle that it will be her fault if the dinner doesn’t work out.
Things go worse before getting better. The next night, when everyone is having a great time around the table, she excuses away, claiming that the onions have made her cry. However, it’s clear that her marriage’s emotional rollercoaster is beginning to take a toll on her.
