ITV Coronation Street drama for much-loved couple as Kevin Webster’s lie exposed

Next week on Coronation Street, an ITV soap opera, a resident will make a startling discovery when they find their lover has been lying to them in a terrifying turn of events.

A startling revelation might mean problems in paradise for Abi Franklin and Kevin Webster on Coronation Street when it airs on ITV next week.

Abi realises something and is shocked to learn that her husband Kevin has been lying to her. She is left stunned when she learns that her late son Seb Franklin was killed by former show villain Corey Brent.

She becomes enraged, however, when Kevin is forced to acknowledge that he has known about it for days and hasn’t informed her. Could their relationship experience turbulence as a result of the secrecy?

As hinted at in a teaser clip, it all begins next week when Abi hears Corey’s name on the radio. Kevin minimises what Abi has heard and implies she’s misinformed, but Abi is all too familiar with that name.

She reels as she hears his name again about his being on TV as she turns up the volume to listen in. Kevin is then compelled to reveal the truth.

Kevin discloses that Corey is participating in jail football matches, with the purpose of filming the game for a documentary. In the video, Corey is portrayed as a hero, making an enraged Abi ecstatic. But will she get even with Kevin for withholding such important information from her?

It occurs three years after he attacked Nina Lucas and her boyfriend Seb in a brutal hate crime. The horrific plot, which culminated in Seb’s death in many heartbreaking moments, left viewers reeling.

Because Corey disagreed with Nina’s goth status, he and his friends had chosen to target them. The ITV serial closely partnered with the foundation established in Sophie Lancaster’s honour, and the compelling plot paralleled the real-life murder of the actress in 2007.

The next week, Abi and Nina band together to seek answers regarding what was shot at the TV firm that produced the documentary. They even break into the producer’s office to make their demands known. They wonder how murderer Corey is included at all and how well he is portrayed.

They seem to have spoken with the Gazette website shortly, and they soon get some encouraging news. They find solace in the encouraging remarks made by readers of the story on the internet, and they are happy to learn that a petition calling for the cancellation of the documentary has been begun.
