Old wounds are reopened in Weatherfield this month
Spoilers for CORONATION Street indicate In later moments, Abi Webster will be enraged after learning about Corey Brent’s situation.
The gruesome murder of Abi’s son Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) by Corey (Maximus Evans) will stick in the minds of viewers.
Following Corey’s first arrest and subsequent charges, the villain eventually entered a guilty plea after being judged not guilty of the crime.
Three years later, Abi is shocked to find out what Corey is doing in unaired sequences.
In next moments, Abi will be seen turning on the television to see the hostess praising Corey and his football skills.
Abi is horrified to learn that her husband Kevin (Michael Le Vell) is making Corey play football for his jail team.
Abi is furious after watching the documentary, which presents Corey as a hero.
Both she and Nina (Mollie Gallagher), who was Seb’s girlfriend and also attacked by Corey, make a call to the TV network that produced the documentary.
Later, they storm the producer’s office and demand answers.
In addition to his part in Seb’s exit, Corey got to know Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) during his stay in Weatherfield.
After being set up by Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney), they first dated and then moved in together at 12 Victoria Court.
Corey bullied Asha and Nina after they started dating, pressuring them into having sex and calling them homophobes.
In yet another horrifying deed, Corey recorded and divulged a “striptease” that Asha had performed for him.
After Seb and Nina were brutally attacked, Corey coerced his former partner into providing a false alibi.
In addition to telling Asha to make sure Amy didn’t blab, he gave Asha instructions to report to the police that they spent the entire night together in their flat.
In the end, Asha devised a risky scheme to definitively reveal Corey’s transgressions.
