All the famous faces in Emmerdale you might have missed as ITV soap celebrates 10,000th episode

The popular ITV soap opera Emmerdale is set to celebrate its 10,000th episode tonight, Wednesday, May 22, with a town fête and a spectacular hit-and-run payback. In honor of this momentous occasion, we’re taking a look at all the well-known characters who have appeared in the village over the years.

Fans of Emmerdale will be glued to their TVs tonight as the popular ITV soap opera celebrates its 10,000th episode with a hit-and-run retaliation and a village fair.

Ella Forster, Liam Cavanagh’s new girlfriend, raises suspicions in the next episode when she declines to have her photo taken at the community function because she is concealing a significant secret. In another scene, the three most likely suspects—Cain Dingle, Caleb Milligan, and Ruby Fox-Milligan—are seen observing the spectacle from a distance. Charles Anderson is left worried when his son Ethan disappears and it soon becomes clear that he has been involved in a hit-and-run.

As was also to be anticipated, in the 10,000th episode, Mack Boyd and Charity Dingle have a passionate affair in a barn, but are soon interrupted by the newspaper photographer looking for Minty. Meanwhile, Isaac Dingle’s cherished pet lamb Minty goes missing, sparking a massive search party. Fans of the soap opera may be surprised to learn that the town has hosted several well-known people over the years, but viewers will become used to seeing their favorites appear on television. Similar to the popular BBC One series Casualty, a number of well-known figures from earlier in their careers—before they were well-known—have appeared in the Dales.

Jenna Coleman

As Jasmine Thomas, Jenna Coleman starred in the ITV soap opera from 2005 to 2009. Since leaving the village, the 38-year-old actress’s career has only gotten better, with a CV filled with noteworthy roles in television series and motion pictures.
