Coronation Street fans call out Kevin Webster over Abi reaction as they work out cheating twist

It came as Abi was left horrified in the ITV soap when their friend and colleague received a video

Following his wife’s dramatic disclosure to him that a sex film featuring her had been transmitted to their friend and coworker Tyron Dobbs, Coronation Street viewers were quick to criticise Kevin Webster. When Tyrone disclosed that he had received an email with the video that Abi was in, Abi was shocked.

Although she had said she had never shot a sex tape before, fans of the ITV soap opera had watched her struggle with drug addiction on and off for years. She soon became concerned that this was something she could not recall from her past.

Although Abi has not yet discovered that the video is a deepfake, with someone setting her up, thinking she is the lady in it, she chatted with Kevin, who thought the video was genuine and had previously been informed about it by Cassie Plummer, who was meddling.

But instead of offering his embarrassed wife comfort, Kevin told Abi he couldn’t handle its presence. He accused her of giving him “half a story” about her history when they sat down to have a heart-to-heart.

“Well, I haven’t withheld any secrets from you on purpose. I wanted honesty to be the foundation of our relationship,” Abi sobbed. Kevin yelled back, “But is it really? I can’t stop watching that video. It will always be stuck in my brain. You are doing it in that disgusting room with who knows.”

After exchanging ideas and emotions for a while, Kevin said, “You told me about your life, all the errors you made, the embarrassment it caused.Thinking about what you did is not the problem. Another is seeing it firsthand. I apologise. I just can’t get over it.

After starting an affair with Tyrone’s wife Molly in 2009, before she gave birth to a baby boy in September 2010 whom Tyrone believed to be his and named Jack after his beloved father-figure Jack Duckworth, Corrie fans wasted no time in taking to social media to remind the garage owner of his own past.

Although they were criticising Kevin’s response, they also hinted that there might be more drama between him and Cassie.
