Ellie Leach has not ruled out a return to the Cobbles as she opened up on Lorraine about her stage debut as she stars in Cluedo.
When Ellie Leach was questioned about her comeback to Coronation Street, she came on Lorraine and responded with only three words.
Many people were hopeful that the 23-year-old, who won the last season of Strictly Come Dancing, would return to the cobbles after she left the iconic serial drama after twelve years.
During an open conversation with ITV host Ranvir Singh, Ellie disclosed details about her life that were thrust into the spotlight. Her popularity has grown over the years, particularly when she emerged as the public’s choice on the BBC dance programme.
Even though her fame is growing, the celebrity has experienced internet harassment, which she described as “difficult” at times. “I was on Corrie for 12 years and I grew up there,” the actress reminisced about her time there. I will always cherish the incredible experience I had and carry it with me forever.”
The 38-year-old Ranvir gasped and cut her off, asking, “Why are you discussing it in the past tense? Will you be returning? “. Ellie had a beaming smile on her face while presenting the programme.
Her words were, “I mean, never say never.” Prior to saying: “I was there, but I’m not now, and I’m trying something entirely different.” I believe that attempting new things is what life is all about.”
Regarding her move to the stage, she continued, saying, “People say you’ve spent 12 years of your life on Corrie, but it’s really different.” You have a live audience, and it’s bolder and larger.”
Excited about her most recent role, the actress just made her theatrical debut in the musical Cluedo.
Regarding the significant position she has assumed, she acknowledged her experience on Strictly Come Dancing and her pairing with Vito Coppola.
“I believe that having a live audience while doing Strictly is incredibly helpful. “Performing and trying something new has been such an incredible experience,” the woman said.
The part that Ellie is playing was supposed to be played by Helen Flanagan, who spent thirteen years as an actress on Corrie before moving on to shows like I’m A Celeb.
The 33-year-old mother of three, who claimed to have been forced to resign due to health issues, still showed up to encourage the performers and staff and even took a picture with Ellie outside the theatre.
It was claimed that Ellie said, “It was so lovely to see Helen and we a company wish her the best.” Ellie then wished the actress well.
Ellie spoke about her increased confidence since participating in the play, but she also acknowledged that being in the public glare had its disadvantages.
You are putting yourself out there and becoming more visible to the public. All we’re doing is attempting to live our lives to the fullest,” she said.
She said that the business she works in “is really hard” and that she has sometimes experienced the intense strain that goes along with it.
