Rhona Goskirk of Emmerdale is in for an exciting week ahead, exactly as fans have been expecting. Viewers have seen their fair share of challenges accompany Rhona and husband Marlon Dingle lately.

The events that follow on the ITV serial imply Rhona is eager to deflect by getting a tattoo. Based on teasers for the next episode, Rhona parlays her new artwork not only for Marlon but also for everyone at The Woolpack.

It’s yet to be seen his response and what the tattoo represents. Rhona, meantime, finds herself attracted to Mandy Dingle, Paddy Kirk’s girlfriend, which results in a developing friendship leaving a fellow villager warsome.

Previews based on Mirror stories reveal Vanessa Woodfield, who shares the workplace with Rhona and has been her confidante for years, thus fostering increasing jealousy of Mandy and Rhona.

Marlon was left totally offended and depressed earlier this year when his wife Rhona revealed a bombshell during her legal contacts with her ex-partner Gus Malcolms. Marlon and Gus were shocked when Rhona’s take against her former partner came before them in court; her being “unable to lie for him” during bouts of infliction.

Her testimony unquestionably played a part in his unfortunate legal outcome, leading to an eight-year incarceration and consequently, his extraction by officers.

Rhona’s damning statement left the villagers in shock and her marriage to Marlon on shaky ground. Before the court hearing, Rhona had agreed to read a victim impact statement which could have resulted in Gus receiving a lighter sentence.

He had already signed documents allowing them access to baby Ivy. Gus was charged after he used frozen embryos that belonged to him and Rhona from their previous marriage, without Rhona’s consent. She believed they had been destroyed years ago.

When Gus revealed his plans to use the embryos with his new wife Lucy, she refused to give permission. However, Gus forged Rhona’s signature, resulting in Lucy falling pregnant.

Tragically, Lucy died during Ivy’s birth. Since then, Rhona has been eager to help raise her biological daughter. However, when Gus attempted to flee to France with Ivy without Rhona’s knowledge, Rhona took Ivy.

Their custody battle led to Rhona facing kidnapping charges, but she was eventually cleared. Meanwhile, Gus received an eight-year prison sentence for fraud.

Marlon has found it difficult to deal with Rhona’s court betrayal, and earlier this year, their marriage was on the verge of breaking down.
