Samson's final fate revealed as his sentencing is confirmed in Emmerdale

When Sam Dingle (James Hooton) finds out how long his adored son Samson Dingle (Sam Hall) will be put away after confessing to lying to the police in Emmerdale, it’s the moment he has been waiting for.

Samson assumed full responsibility for the falsehoods that led to Matty Barton’s (Ash Palmisciano) unjustly being demoted, primarily out of fear of Josh, the naughty boy.

However, Samson acts aggressively now, believing he has nothing to lose, and ends up making things more difficult for himself.

Samson continues to refuse to report Josh, and Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) continues to express her displeasure about it, believing that Samson is ‘covering’ Josh.

Although she is not totally incorrect, Samson musters the strength to confront Josh since, in his opinion, he has nothing left to lose because he is going to jail anyhow.

Nothing except more independence, as he discovers the hard way. Samson shows courage by giving Josh a taste of his own medicine, but instead of getting away with it, he gets jailed.

The timing couldn’t be worse: while he’s awaiting punishment, Sam and Lydia (Karen Blick) are shocked to learn that this has happened.

To exacerbate the situation, it turns out that Samson was sold to the police, and Moira, with her melancholy countenance, is the main suspect.

Even though Moira is happy that Samson is arrested despite her insistence on her innocence, Cain (Jeff Hordley) finds it hard to accept that she didn’t answer the phone.

A new spoiler video shows the rest of Samson’s family and friends talking about the situation in the Woolpack as Samson’s fate is revealed in court.

To the distress of Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell), Cain is adamant that things won’t work out well for the young man.

Lydia enters the Woolpack silently and somberly; what news does she have, though?
