Victoria also gets a shock when she comes face to face with a relative she didn’t know anything about
In Emmerdale, VICTORIA Sugden learns the terrible truth about Eric Pollard.
The ITV soap opera’s pensioner has been responsible for some heinous deeds in recent weeks, such as calling for Victoria to be fired from The Hide.
In future scenes from Emmerdale, Brenda is taken aback to learn that Pollard was the one who planned Vic’s dismissal from The Hide and gives him an ultimatum to make apologies right away.
Victoria kindly accepts Pollard’s offer to work at the business later on.
However, Brenda was shocked when Pollard hired her without disclosing his role in her termination. Will he make the proper decision?
Pollard eventually concedes to Brenda’s persuasion and becomes so overcome with remorse that he forced Jai to dismiss her from the Hide. Vic is furious at him for orchestrating her sacking and leaving her without money.
Vic is too upset to accept his attempts at rationalizing his recent acts, despite his best efforts.
Aaron can’t hear Victoria when she attempts to speak because he’s too focused on someone on his phone.
Vic is left thinking as Aaron explains to her how she might take advantage of the circumstances surrounding her dismissal.
Vic will be even more shocked, though, when she offers to assist Pollard after his car breaks down so he can attend an old friend’s funeral.
Victoria walks inside the church with a grieving kid attending his mother’s funeral. However, it’s shocking that his name is John Sugden.
Pollard clumsily admits that John may be her dad’s son and so her half brother.
Shortly after, Mackenzie returns to the village and gets a call at the garage regarding a nearby breakdown. He leaves to assist.
Pollard and Victoria are shocked to see John, who has collapsed, in the village when they return.
Victoria is overjoyed to see him once more.
However, John soon finds that his presence in the community is upsetting certain people.
