Emmerdale Zak Dingle ‘to be killed off’ by bad guy – but fans ‘never watching again’

After the tragic actor’s passing last year, fans of Emmerdale are afraid that Zak Dingle, an icon of the soap opera, could be murdered off as part of his leaving plot.

Fans of Emmerdale believe that a local bad man may be killing Zak Dingle.

As the leader of the Dingle tribe, Steve Halliwell’s beloved villager Zak made his television debut in 1994 and went on to become a beloved figure. Steve tragically lost his life at the age of 77 last year following many health issues.

Zak is currently living off-screen in Scotland with his granddaughter Debbie. Many Dingle family members have continued to live in the well-known hamlet in the meanwhile, but they frequently travel great distances to see him.

Furthermore, later this year, the family residing in the Yorkshire Dales will be devastated to learn of Zak’s passing. A tribute plotline honoring Halliwell’s noteworthy contribution to the show, for both Zak and Halliwell, is now in development, an Emmerdale producer has confirmed.

In the midst of the character’s domestic abuse narrative with spouse Tom (James Chase), Zak’s daughter Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) took a vacation from the Dales only last month to see him.

Fans will remember that for a number of months, Tom has been lying, abusing, and gaslighting Belle. And even though Belle is leaving him and moving to Scotland, Tom won’t let her go.

He surreptitiously obtained his own key to Belle’s house in last week’s shows. After after, he entered Belle’s house covertly after receiving an odd delivery. Later, he was spotted walking away grinning broadly.

Fans, on the other hand, think that Tom could truly kill Zak in a shocking turn of events. One watcher on X wondered aloud, “OMG what if Tom ends up killing Zak in Scotland? Or does Zak save Belle? Will Charity be visiting Scotland as well?

Another person wrote, “Strange thing, if true.” I’d never turn on #Emmerdale once more. When Zak pursues Belle to Scotland, Tom murders him. If accurate? It’s ill. Not on Facebook. Zak, you deserve better.

One of the viewers on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page speculated that Belle would be the one to return home and inform the other Dingle family members of Zak’s death.

Another person shared the devastating notion that Tom killed Zak in the comments area. They stated: “Anything is possible, but hopefully the writers give Zak a good proper send-off in Dingle. Tom could travel up to Scotland and kill Zak.”
