The Sean Tully actor was wished well as he marked a special occasion
Messages of support poured in for Antony Cotton as he celebrated a momentous anniversary. The popular soap opera star is well-known from his time on the long-running ITV series as Sean Tully.
Since his debut on the Cobbles in 2003, he has been a dependable member of the cast. With the return of the bully, Mason Radcliffe, to the show, the character has had a difficult period on the Cobbles while trying to steer his on-screen son, Dylan Wilson, in the right direction.
Liam McCheyne, who plays Dylan, wished Antony a happy 49th birthday on Instagram. “Happy birthday to @antonycotton,” he tweeted. I sincerely appreciate all that you have done for me. for being the first tutor I had in this field.
“I really like you. I hope today is amazing for you!
Outside of the Cobbles, Antony and Peter Eccleston have a pleasant relationship. He posted a heartfelt birthday greeting on Instagram, saying, “Happy birthday. I hope to force you to have a photo shot for many more years to come.
2010 saw the pair declare their love for one another by exchanging rings, but they opted out of a civil ceremony. Peter is the nephew of Christopher Eccleston, a former star of Doctor Who, and works behind the scenes as a prop buyer on Coronation Street.
Many of Antony’s co-stars in Corrie are personal friends. On Antony’s birthday, Sally Dynevor, who plays Sally Metcalfe in the show, also sent birthday greetings.
“Happy birthday to my wonderful friend and travel agent,” she said. I cherish you.”
Last year, Sally turned 60, and to celebrate, Antony wrote a heartfelt greeting to his close friend. “Happy Birthday to the quite simply gorgeous @sallydynevor,” he said on Instagram.
“We all adore her so much, and she is the finest of the best. Sal, keep in mind not to get too near to the platform edge.”
