As Cain Dingle’s relationship with Moira Barton deteriorates, Emmerdale viewers are certain he will have an affair with a villager.
Fans of Emmerdale are making assumptions about Ella Forster being a possible new love interest for Cain Dingle. The iconic ITV soap opera has recently shown tension in Cain’s (Jeff Hordley) relationship with Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb).
Their problems stem from Moira’s son Matty Barton’s (Ash Palmisciano) incarceration. After Matty was falsely accused of purposeful stabbing by Samson Dingle (Sam Hall), he was placed under custody. Moira is obsessed with exposing Samson, Cain’s nephew, as a liar and establishing Matty’s innocence.
After admitting to lying about Matty, Cain was seen assisting Samson in getting ready for his own possible jail sentence, which escalated tensions. According to the Express, Moira stormed in during a fight between Cain and Samson, accusing her partner of abandoning her son and siding with Samson.
Samson was arrested on Monday, August 5, for assault after he confronted bully Josh (Osian Morgan). Moira was grinning at Cain as the cops took the adolescent out of The Woolpack.
Once again, the pair got into a furious fight at home, and when Cain thought Moira had reported Samson to the police, she ended up hurling a glass across the room.
In the meantime, Ella (Paula Lane), who has returned to the hamlet pregnant, has been witnessing softer sides of Cain. When it was discovered that she had killed a kid when she was just 11 years old, she turned to Cain for comfort.
Ella, who was devastated to learn of her loss, has also turned to Cain for solace. There is a lot of conjecture among Emmerdale’s viewers over a potential change in Cain’s romantic situation.
On social media, a fan wondered, “Is Moira turning into a psycho abuser like Tom #Emmerdale, Cain off with Ella.” Another idea was up was “#emmerdale What do you think? My spider senses indicate that Ella and Cain are chemistry-wise.

One follower asked: “#Emmerdale… Should Cain ditch Moira and get together with Ella? (The Dr’s ex)” in an attempt to predict possible storyline twists. A disgruntled reader wrote: “Moira has turned into a nasty spiteful cow, loved her and Cain together but now I hope he leaves her @emmerdale.”
