Recently, in Emmerdale, Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) shocked everyone by expressing interest in Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson).

Gabby knew Vinny was lonely, so at first she spent time with him. However, Vinny lost it and became heartbroken when he saw she was simply hanging around with him out of sympathy.

The two friends then decided to put the unpleasant situation behind them, but Mandy (Lisa Riley) grinned as she saw and knew something was clearly developing between them both.

To our surprise, the two characters had been romantically involved as they continued to spend time together.

It certainly surprised Gabby to see Vinny in a loving light. Thomas, her little kid, is also the child of Jamie Tate, Kim’s awful son.

Actress Rosie Bentham told us when she thought back on this and how her new plot pulls Gabby away from life at Home Farm: “I think it’s good.” For Gabby, it’s a little of a different combination. Usually, she goes for a bit of a bad boy. It is distinct from other things. Although they are complete opposites, I believe it may work.

“I believe he could somewhat mellow Gabby, returning her to her childhood memories of Ashley and Laurel and all those cosy feelings.”

She said, thinking back to Gabby spending more time with Laurel, “It’s really nice.”

It’s great to be working with Charlotte again on a lot more projects. She becomes embroiled in the romance between Jai and Laurel. and everything, including all the youngsters nearby. It feels and looks completely different, yet it’s incredibly pleasant.

Bradley Johnson joined Rosie for the conversation. He thought about Vinny’s new relationship and, to no one’s surprise, stated that Mandy would be heavily involved in her son’s romantic endeavours.

She is very engaged in it. She’s noticed that Vinny has been depressed over the Liv situation, so she’s spoken to Gabby several times to boost his self-esteem. Actually, it was the catalyst for it. Gabby was Liv’s best friend because of Liv, and she wanted Vinny to have a buddy as well. That is the origin of it all.

“However, Mandy has a propensity to become overly involved in things, which is what kind of got things off to a bad start by Vinny misinterpreting Gabby’s intentions.”

Bradley said, “I’ve loved the plot and the way they’re writing for both of them, bringing Vinny’s geekiness back out of him.”

It’s full of funny components and has been a lot of fun. It’s very enjoyable for me. It may depict both the good and bad aspects of the relationship—obviously what they’re going through right now—but if they manage to go through it and find happiness, I believe it has the potential to succeed.
