Next week, when his lies started to come apart, Dee-Dee Bailey of Coronation Street is shocked to learn that her fiancé Joel Deering has lied to her.
Next week on the ITV soap opera Coronation Street, Dee-Dee Bailey will finally discover that her fiancé Joel Deering is a liar.
A brand-new teaser displays Dee-Dee’s rumbling moment. Joel has been deceiving her about a piece of jewellery he purchased in the past. Viewers are aware that Joel did not really purchase the charm bracelet he claimed to have given his infant daughter.
However, Emily, the mother of baby Maeve, will be perplexed when Dee-Dee discloses that she purchased a charm for the bracelet during their future encounter. When Dee-Dee says that Joel doesn’t have anywhere to put his possessions, Emily also gives him a strange look, as if she knows he’s hiding something.
While Emily makes it apparent that Joel did not give his daughter a bracelet, Dee-Dee is sure that he did. Dee-Dee becomes perplexed and wonders what Joel purchased in its place; it appears that this perplexity will prompt her to look into her spouse.
Additionally, Emily will caution her about Joel’s continued rent payments on his previous property. Dee-Dee uncovers some information as a result of both falsehoods, but will she ever discover that her partner is leading a second life?
Channique Sterling-Brown, a Dee-Dee actor, just made a hint about Joel’s impending exposure. Joel will probably have to go because there is no way he can stay on the Cobbles.
“Everything leading up to Joel’s demise has been filmed. I believe he is treading carefully and is engaged in an extremely risky game. “Exploring this other side of their relationship, where he’s really purposefully lying to her to keep his lies and his other life undercover, has been fun, because it’s like planning a wedding,” she said to Digital Spy.
“Obviously Dee-Dee is a smart woman, so she’s definitely picking up on his signals. I think it’s going to be a real time of turmoil for Dee-Dee whenever the truth does come out. I think she will be questioning her judgement of character – and her judgement in general.”

Dee-Dee is a victim in Channique’s eyes, and she hopes that people would see how these things might impact other people. “Yet it’s been really important for me personally to protect the character’s integrity,” she clarified. People get tricked in a great deal of circumstances.
“Even while it may not be to the same degree as Joel, you are still a victim if someone has purposefully blinded you. It doesn’t make you less intelligent. I sincerely hope that people may identify with someone who has been duped in that manner and understand how you come to terms with who you are thereafter.”
