Carla outs Joel in public
Spoilers for Coronation Street reveal that Dee-Dee Bailey is still investigating Joel Deering, the villain. Carla, in the meantime, exposes him for his misdeeds when she sees him at an exclusive hotel conference. She charges him of attempting to murder Lauren as she storms over.
What will Joel’s response be?
This occurs when Dee-Dee looks into Joel’s troubled history and DS Swain is working to bring him down, drawing the net closer around him. The race is on to uncover Joel’s misdeeds before he may do them again, though, as there is insufficient proof to prosecute him.

Joel visits Lauren in the hospital and also runs into Dee-Dee there. Following his most recent threats, Lauren notifies DS Swain about him.
In the meantime, Dee-Dee finds out that Joel was formerly employed for a company that helped young people in need.

In other news, Betsy tries to talk to her mother about Mason’s newest threats, but DS Swain is preoccupied. When her phone rings, she gets distracted and rushes out to answer it.
Carla tells Betsy in the factory that her mother adores her. She begs Betsy to be understanding and make apologies to her mother.
Meanwhile, DS Swain questions Kit about the evidence that was put on Nathan at the station.

Carla exposes the truth about Joel
Lisa Swain and Carla become more intimate after Lisa confides in Carla about her problems with Betsy. Carla also observes Joel’s entrance when she meets with a possible supplier at the Chariot hotel.
After her meeting is complete, Carla goes to Joel’s table and exposes him to everyone as a monster who beats women and tried to kill Lauren Bolton.
