Next week on EastEnders, The Six will be put through their paces as Dean Wicks’ (Matt Di Angelo) eagerly anticipated trial for the murder of Danny Walters’ character, Keanu Taylor, finally takes place.

However, the ladies of Walford are going to be proven incorrect if they believed they would be able to escape punishment for murder without any dramatic turn of events.

There will be more challenges ahead for The Six as their scheme to frame Dean for Linda Carter’s (Kellie Bright) crime intensifies, according to spoilers for the BBC soap opera airing next week.

As Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) is ready to testify, she is worried because Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris), Keanu’s sister, is unintentionally bothering her and thinks she’s the true murderer.

An already frail Linda is alarmed by Sharon’s concern; she was sent to the hospital after abusing alcohol to deal with her fear of testifying.

While fellow Six members Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) give their support to Linda as she gets ready to testify, Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) offers them assurance.

They do, however, have a severe early setback when Dean’s brief brings up details about Sharon’s history and she recoils from the strain of cross-examination.

Then, things get really serious and might have a big impact on The Six.

Fearing for her life, Linda flees the courtroom before her testimony is scheduled to be heard. She had earlier provided a fictitious statement that falsely claimed her rapist Dean was at the location where Keanu’s body was found the night he was murdered.

While the other members of The Six wait impatiently for word, Phil pairs up with Linda’s son Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) to find her and persuade her to appear on the stand.

However, later on, when things take a turn that would have a significant impact on the gang, they are left stunned and realise that their suffering is far from finished.

A group member then decides under extreme duress to make a choice they could come to regret.
