Emmerdale fans weren’t happy
Moira Dingle fired John Sugden from Emmerdale after Mackenzie Boyd’s bull incident left viewers angry. This year, Oliver Farnworth’s character John, the long-lost son of Clive Hornby’s Jack Sugden, had a stunning debut. Without realizing he was the brother of Aaron Dingle’s (Danny Miller) ex-husband Robert, he rapidly caused controversy by starting a passionate relationship with Aaron. (Ryan Hawley).
John has settled into the hamlet as a known face, becoming to know his sister Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) and having conflicts with Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb). John was able to get a job at Moira’s (Natalie J. Robb) farm.
But tensions at work increased when a bull assault sent Mackenzie to the hospital, according to the Express. Fans will recall that Mackenzie knocked himself out as he attempted to vault over a closed gate in an attempt to escape the bull.
He was transported to the hospital after collapsing at home, despite his initial recovery. Their prolonged animosity had made Mackenzie believe that John was to blame for the event.
John, however, denied any involvement, and the truth was revealed in the August 30 episode. Moira remembered that she could have accidentally opened a gate, which led to the accident.
In spite of this information, Moira chose to release John from the property because of the tense connection he had with her brother. Moira’s choice clearly infuriated the fans, who vented their resentment on toc X, the former name for Twitter.
“She’s seriously sacking John?!” said one user. Mack works in the garage for a living.”
A other admirer remarked, “Moira, keep John, leave Mack.” “Moira sacking John-I don’t think Cain will be happy,” penned a third.
