Caleb Miligan tried to ignore someone who was ringing his wife Ruby’s phone on Friday, leaving Emmerdale viewers perplexed. However, actor Will Ash has now explained everything.

There’s no need to go deeper for those curious about who Caleb Miligan from Emmerdale spoke with on Friday.

The identity of the mystery caller that Caleb actor Will Ash was heard warning in the most recent episode has been disclosed to The Mirror and other press outlets. When he answered the phone, Will Miligan appeared surprised, leading some fans to speculate that the caller may be Will Taylor’s blackmailer.

He quickly identified who it was and blocked the number after telling them not to call again. Then he gripped Ruby’s phone, but who was it from and what was on the other end?

Fans who have been curious about the truth now have their answers, and while it has nothing to do with Will, it may indicate painful situations for Ruby in the future. Ruby’s mother, who is separated from her, made contact, according to Caleb actor Will, suggesting a tragic death may be imminent.

Will disclosed to us lately that Ruby’s mother Helen will deliver the heartbreaking news that she is dying ahead of the mystery scenes airing. Despite their prior turmoil, she is now determined to make things right with Ruby in the time she has left. Will Caleb prevent them from doing so?

“In the upcoming episode, he receives another phone call,” Will informed us. This time, it’s Ruby’s mother calling him; she has his phone and she says, “I want to see Ruby; I’m in the hospital and I’m dying; I want to see her.” I respond, “No, you can’t see her; I’ll come see you.”

That was the beginning. He chooses to go see what she desires. He is unsure if she is indeed on her deathbed, as she claims. He is aware that he can never believe whatever she says due of her prior devious behaviour and manipulation.

“So he makes the decision to go see what she truly desires. Ruby could want some form of resolution if she is close to passing away and is on her deathbed; perhaps they can work things out. That turns out not to be the case.”

It appears that Ruby and Helen will disagree about their history, but it’s unclear if Ruby will learn what went wrong or that her mother is ill. Will said, “Ruby and Caleb don’t have a connection with Ruby’s mother since, in essence, when Ruby and Caleb first started dating at the age of 17, their parents had a strong distaste for Caleb.

“They detested him merely for leaving a care facility, for lacking a family, and for believing he was beneath their daughter. In addition to being extremely judgemental and snobbish, Helen and her husband set Ruby a deadline. In essence, they stated, “Look, we don’t want anything to do with you if you want to be with this boy.”

“After that, they removed Ruby, and their treatment of her was incredibly nasty and harsh. She wasn’t a good person, and they completely shut her out of their life.”
