After admitting to handling stolen items in Coronation Street, Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) faces a jail term.
Even worse, she may not be allowed to spend her last moments with her dying son Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) due to her jail sentence.
Bernie recently disclosed that she may spend as much as six months in jail after the court said that her past required a prison sentence.
Paul may not survive while she is imprisoned since he was just diagnosed with MND and has been informed he only has six to twelve months to live.
Bernie is determined to spend as much time as possible with her kid as a result, and the family immediately takes action to make that possible.
A new teaser video shows Bernie receiving Christmas presents early in the shape of some well-known carol singers.
She is startled to see Paul, Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell), Joseph (William Flanagan), and two of the quads all decked up in holiday finery as she settles onto the couch after hearing a knock at the door.
Paul went on to say that they were going to celebrate Christmas early since Bernie wouldn’t be around.
Gemma offered a formal invitation and a turkey supper complete with all the fixings, along with a Christmas tree, as Joseph gave her the paper.
Bernie accepted the offer with gratitude, but would their Christmas be a success?
Will Bernie be able to enjoy her alternate Christmas with the shadow of jail over her head?
