With a charming video, Isabel Hodgins announced her engagement to Adam Whitehead.
The actress from Emmerdale told her 154,000 Instagram followers that she had enthusiastically accepted her boyfriend’s proposal when he asked.
Isabel, who gained popularity as Victoria Sugden on the hit ITV soap opera, has been officially dating Adam since December of last year.
She posted a video of the two of them having dinner, in which Adam can be seen putting the ring on her finger and kissing her across the table.
She captioned the news, saying, “The most incredible night of my life 🩷.” “I agreed to marry my closest friend.” My ideal person—kind, lovely, patient, and giving.
“I am so excited to be with you forever 💍.”
Many expressed their affection for the happy pair in the comments section, including Adam’s mother, who wrote: “Congratulations to you both.” We adore you, our future daughter-in-law.

The two are quite active; they have participated in gruelling mudders, walked across London’s O2, and the Great Manchester Run.
The actress and her former co-star Michael Parr had a four-year romance that ended in 2018 when he left to pursue his dreams in America.
It is said that after drifting apart, they decided to be friends and support one another’s aspirations in an amicable breakup.
Despite having a happily married real life, Isabel, who has been a cast member of Emmerdale since 2006, has far more nuanced on-screen relationships as Victoria.
Her liaison with Joe-Warren Plant’s character, Jacob Gallagher, is getting closer to being made public as the two are on the verge of being discovered together by Jacob’s stepfather, David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden).
The turmoil has been heightened by David’s recent attempts to win Victoria back, including his humiliating admission to Jacob and Pollard that he still loves her.
As Matthew had previously said, “David’s eventual departure from the village is largely due to his relationship with Jacob and Victoria.” All I can tell is that there will be some disagreements and some tears.
