Coronation Street’s Cait Fitton returns sweet favour after co-star declares love

Actress Cait Fitton (Lauren Bolton) of Coronation Street sent her co-star Paddy Bever (Max Turner) the sweetest birthday tribute.

Off-screen, Paddy and Cait have a tight relationship; they just vacationed together in Tenerife before she headed back to the cobbles to play Lauren.

Yesterday was the actor’s 21st birthday, and Cait naturally sent a heartfelt birthday card to commemorate the momentous occasion.

Through Instagram Stories, Cait posted a collage of herself and her closest friend.

“Happy 21st to this beautiful human,” was her caption. Huge love to you, Paddington.

This is a great moment for Cait. She is excited to be back on Coronation Street, to start with.

“It was unexpected to be informed that I was returning because Lauren was only meant to be a passing character in the story,” she said.

I was thus thrilled to hear that she was returning since it would allow me to further explore the character and give us a new perspective on her. So even though it wasn’t anticipated, I was ecstatic to hear the news.

She clarified that her character comes back a very different person. “I believe that these experiences shape who we are as people, and I believe that she just wants to be accepted right now, to have her reputation—that is, what her dad had—taken away, and to be herself—but she can’t achieve that on her own.”

For this reason, in my opinion, Lauren’s acceptance and her ability to mend relationships with others are so important. She is ready to demonstrate to everyone that she has changed and will stop at nothing to do so.

Although Cait’s acting career is booming, she just celebrated reaching a new goal: this summer, she received a first-class degree. She posted the news on Instagram Stories along with a happy-looking black and white snapshot of herself with the remark, “The girl did it.” First-rate accolades, Bobby. Go ahead, graduate.

Declaring he “couldn’t be prouder” of his pal, Paddy posted a photo to his Instagram stories.

This lady merely attended and received a first-class degree. I am really proud of you. He said, “Thank you for being the most amazing friend.”
