Emmerdale character returns after three years and viewers are thrilled

After a rollercoaster week of episodes, fans of Emmerdale have flocked to social media to express their joy at the return of a beloved character.

After a week of episodes centered on the Dingle family, the identity of Craig Reed’s (Ben Addis) murderer was eventually disclosed in recent scenes.

Viewers were treated to multiple flashbacks throughout the episodes as the protagonists provided their alibis and revealed a lot of significant facts.

The reappearance of DS Wise (Neil Roberts), who was last seen on the ITV soap opera three years ago, was, however, what took the majority of the audience by surprise.

DS Wise made her television debut in 2016 and was a key player in Danny Miller’s (Aaron Dingle) groundbreaking narrative about sexual assault.

Aaron went to the police and said that he had been sexually assaulted as a youngster by his father, Gordon. DS Wise led the investigation and conducted the interviews with Aaron and Gordon.

To the surprise of fans, he made his last appearance on TV Friday night (November 2), after his departure during an episode of 2020.

This time, DS Wise was investigating Craig’s murder and showed up to Home Farm to speak with Kim Tate (Claire King) after the discovery of the corpse on her property.

In her interview, Kim said that her cherished horse had vanished. However, viewers subsequently learned that she had purposefully released the animal after it had kicked Craig, rendering him partially unconscious.

Subsequent flashbacks subsequently showed that Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) was also involved, having told Kim to walk away and let Craig die rather than calling for help.

Currently, Sam Dingle (James Hooton) feels he killed Craig since he severely beat him earlier in the day.

Will Cain reveal the truth or allow his brother to keep everything under wraps?
