Here are some spoilers for Thursday’s (December 14) episode of EastEnders, which can be streamed on BBC iPlayer right now.

After giving in to temptation, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) kissed passionately before deciding to go further.

After Jack proved to be somewhat of a hero in shining armour for Stacey during her stalker ordeal at the hands of Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis), the two have been dancing around their obvious chemistry for weeks.

The relationship between the two was highlighted on Thursday’s episode of the BBC One soap opera, as Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) noticed.

But shortly after, things took a terrifying turn when Theo sent Stacey a Christmas card. This made her nervous since she thought the stalker might have something to do with Heather Peace’s (Eve Unwin) disappearance.

Deflated, Stacey sent Theo a sharply written message threatening him to kill Eve if he touched her. The cops were powerless to intervene further.

Stacey was horrified in a later episode when she discovered that No. 32’s door was latching, but Jack saved her and reassured her that nobody was inside, revealing that Theo is located far away in Scotland.

Consequently, Stacey had no choice but to inform Jack that she had threatened Theo. This led to a furious dispute during which Stacey retaliated angrily.

She eventually felt bad about what she had said and went to the detective’s house to make amends.

After one thing led to another, the two began kissing.

For quite some time, fans have conjectured that there will be an affair between the two characters. Will Denise Fox (Diane Parish) find out is the question. It’s highly possible; her and Jack’s marriage is in disarray as of next week.
