What’s next in the village?
In the next Christmas episodes of Emmerdale, Mack and Charity will engage in a harrowing altercation with the menacing Harry.
In other news, Amit has to choose whether to reveal his major secret or not, while Tracy and Caleb are ultimately exposed for their covert relationship.
Here’s a comprehensive list of the nine major events that are approaching.
1. Harry catches Chloe lying to him
Mack has been missing from the abandoned factory for a few days since the beginning of his kidnapping ordeal.
Chloe lies to her abusive father at Harry’s residence in an attempt to get away. Even though Harry is aware that Chloe intervened by releasing Mack, he still goes along with it.
When Chloe dashes out to Keepers Cottage in search of assistance, this double game comes to an end. Chloe is forced into the back of a car by Harry when he discovers her in the act.
2. Charity and Chas follow Harry and Chloe
Charity and Chas realise that Mack’s absence is related to Harry and Chloe’s quarrel. In an attempt to learn more, they choose to follow the duo.
Harry returns Chloe to the workshop, where Mack has been apprehended once again. Harry is about to give Mack yet another vicious thrashing, and he is already in a horrible situation.
As Chas tries to call the police after being captured by one of Harry’s heavies, Charity steps in and gives the thug a board to hit over the head.
In an attempt to save Mack, Charity goes farther into the facility as Chas is once again preoccupied with phoning the police.
3. A gunshot is fired
Harry draws his rifle and gets ready to kill Mack for good, not seeing Charity is coming up from behind.
Charity is desperate to save Mack even if he discreetly urges her to stay away when he spots her.
Charity gets into a fight with Harry after jumping in to defend Mack. A gun goes off, causing chaos and raising the stakes to an unprecedented level.
4. Tracy and Caleb are caught out
Attending the same Christmas party at Butler’s Farm, Tracy and Caleb have a heated moment by themselves while no one else is around.
Later, as everyone else leaves, Tracy stays behind to watch the kids. Caleb volunteers to accompany her since he is desperate to spend time with his hidden sweetheart.
Tracy and Caleb find that this is a risk they can no longer take when someone enters and finds them in a precarious situation.
5. Belle proposes
Belle and Leyla get together to have one last go at getting Tom to say yes. As it happens, Leyla was the ideal person to ask for assistance because she owes a favour to Tom’s heroes, Torvill and Dean.
Tom is blindfolded and led onto an ice rink by Leyla. When Tom takes off the blindfold, he’s shocked to see that Belle, with Torvill and Dean’s assistance, has planned a romantic proposal.
Tom accepts Belle’s proposal, and Belle celebrates her achievement with the legendary ice dancers.
6. Marlon loses his temper at Christmas
Enjoying their Christmas morning together with Mary, April, and Leo are Marlon and Rhona. When Marlon gets into a fight with Gus, who has come to stay with baby Ivy, the mood is ruined.
Paddy tells Marlon that Gus still misses Lucy and that he should be treated with some consideration. Marlon understands that he must make apologies and restore everyone’s Christmas to its original meaning.
7. Amit faces pressure from Suni
When Suni presses Amit about his secret, he feels uneasy.
Suni believes it’s time for Amit to tell the other members of the family the truth about why Rishi actually passed away, but is he ready to do this?
8. Nicola prepares the next step in her career
Jimmy and Bob are informed by Nicola that she plans to host a councillor celebration at the B&B on New Year’s Eve.
Making the plan is Nicola’s new goal in her bid to become mayor. Bob is irritated, but Jimmy is impressed.
9. Heath and Cathy make plans
Heath and Cathy intend to go to a party in Hotten together for their own New Year’s celebrations.
Angelica joins in on the plot as well, but since the teenagers seem determined to make it there that evening, disaster becomes inevitable.
